Kids love bugs - and Anderson Pest Solutions loves kids! Learn more about the fascinating world of insects with Mark O'Hara and Tom Dobrinska of Anderson Pest Solutions when they visit the museum and bring along some of their unusual insect friends for children to experience up close.
FATHER'S DAY
June 16
On Father’s Day, fathers receive FREE admission to the Museum! Children can create a craft for Dad in the Artist’s Studio.
JOIN THE MILWAUKEE FILM 2013 CHILDREN'S SELECTION COMMITTEE
June 17 and 24 from 3 - 4 p.m.
Calling all film lovers ages 6 to 9...be a part of the Children’s Selection Committee to help decide what films will be shown this year at the Milwaukee Children’s Film Festival! Committee members will attend two pre-screening sessions held at the Museum to view and discuss a variety of films. Participants will receive four tickets to attend the 2013 Festival (September 26 – October 10)! Space is limited and participants must register in advance by calling Susan Kerns, Education Director for Milwaukee Film, at 414-755-1965, ext. 203.
HELP US PLANT OUR ABC GARDEN!
Thursday, June 20 from 5 – 8 p.m. during US Bank & FOX 6 Neighborhood Night
Families are invited to help our ABC Garden come to life! The kids do the gardening and fill all of our colorful alphabet garden boxes from A to Z. Special programs from Friends of Boerner Botanical Gardens, Milwaukee Public Library and the Museum will keep your little sprouts busy, and admission is free during Neighborhood Night! Remember, gardening can be messy, so please dress appropriately.
BACK-TO-SCHOOL RESOURCE FAIR
August 15 from 5 – 8 p.m. during US Bank & FOX 6 Neighborhood Night
Join us for our annual free Back-to-School Resource Fair, an evening filled with resources to help parents prepare children for the first day of school. For families in need, elementary school-age children are eligible to receive free school supplies, while supplies last. This event is sure to make a child’s first day of school exciting and fun.
This year’s event is supported by Mike and Jennifer Keough. School supplies are donated by the employees of US Bank. To support the Resource Fair or to make an in-kind donation, please call 414-390-KIDS (5437) ext. 240.
ART CENTRAL GALLERY SHOWS
Throughout the year, the Museum’s Art Central gallery – sponsored by Mike and Jennifer Keough – features wonderful examples of art created by and for children.

FAMILY FIREWORKS

The Museum’s Board of Directors cordially invites our generous supporters and members to our annual July 3rd Family Fireworks event. Enjoy the best seat on Milwaukee’s lakefront for the US Bank fireworks with a ticket to this fun-filled sparkler of an evening!
All tickets include a casual dinner, beverages and activities for the entire family.
