Regular Pre-School Programs
Tot Time: Ages 1 – 3
Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.
There will be no Tot Time on January 2 and April 17 & 24
Singing, listening to stories, playing games and other activities for our youngest visitors are the first, critical steps in building academic and social skills for a lifetime. Join us for fun and games that are really all about learning.
Pre-School Pop-In: Ages 3 – 5
Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.
There will be no Pre-School Pop-In on January 1, March 19, and April 16 & 23
Join us for songs, stories and other fun group activities that focus on school readiness, and strengthening vocabulary and social skills.

About Be A Maker
The Museum’s new Be A Maker programs offer opportunities for the children and families who visit the Museum to explore a broad range of do-it-yourself maker activities using a variety of materials, real tools, digital resources and technology that make it fun to tinker, learn new skills and create something unique!

Be a Maker: Physicist
April 12 & 26 at 1 p.m.
Experiment with Velocity – new Museum activities that illustrate the physics of objects like skateboards, motorcycles and golf balls in motion. Design your own tracks and see what happens!

Make change and make choices about the money you earn, spend and save with fun financial literacy activities and lots of pretend money.
Story Time Yoga

Get moving with Minda Devorkin, local author and youth yoga teacher!
Spring Break Fun
April 14 – 25 at 10:30 a.m. & 2 p.m.

US Bank & FOX 6 Neighborhood Night

April 17 from 5 – 8 p.m.
Enjoy free admission and evening hours courtesy of US Bank & FOX 6, and the following free programs:

5 - 7:30 p.m.: Celebrate Children!
Join the Family Resource Network and celebrate children. Families will learn new ways to foster positive relationships.

5 - 8 p.m.: On Stage Art with First Stage
Join Museum educators and First Stage teaching artists to create costumes and props to use for a performance at the Museum (and at home!) and add to a scenic backdrop for our kid-sized theater.

Anderson Insect Zoo
April 18, 10 a.m. – noon
Kids love bugs! Anderson Pest Solutions will visit the Museum and bring along some of their unusual insect friends for children to experience up close.
Go Green with Smokey Bear & Woodsy Owl
April 18 at 2 p.m.
Age 5 and older. Games about the three Rs – reduce, reuse, recycle – will teach kids what “going green” means, how to participate and why it matters.
Earth Day!
April 22
Art projects with recycled materials, a story time at 2 p.m. and other Earth Day activities.
