Weekly Workshops
The Museum's weekly educational programs encourage learning through the use of materials, props, demonstrations, and group interaction. Unless otherwise specified, each program is free with regular paid admission. See the calendar for themes and details. Programs are subject to change without notice.
Please register at the Museum's Information Desk on the day of the program. Space is limited and participation is on a first come, first served basis.
The following programs are offered weekly at the Museum.
Pre-School Pop-In
Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.
Ages 3-5
Pre-schoolers participate in music, movement and visual art activities that encourage early reading and introduce beginning math concepts. Adults learn about age-appropriate activities that stimulate a child’s development.
Tot Time
Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.
Ages 1-3
Please note that Tot Time is one of our most popular workshops, and we encourage those who would like to participate to come early.
Toddlers will enjoy songs, games, finger-play, stories and art experiences. Adults learn how these experiences impact early childhood development and foster curiosity, persistence, imagination and cognitive skills.
