Educational Programs

The Museum offers a variety of educational programs – included with regular admission, and free for Museum members – for all ages!

Preschool programs

Birth through age 5 are critical years in a child’s development. Our preschool programs are a great way to get ready for kindergarten and beyond – and have fun learning together. Space is limited. Please sign up when you arrive at the Museum:

Tot Time: Ages 1 –3, weekly on Thursdays
Music Makers: Ages 2 – 5 , weekly on Fridays
Pint-Size Science: Ages 2 – 5, monthly

Please check the calendar for dates and times of our preschool programs or download a copy of our newsletter, Handprints, for information about all of our upcoming programs and events.

Special educational programs

Visitors can enjoy maker workshops in our Be A Maker space, as well as programs with community partners like the Zoological Society of Milwaukee, Milwaukee Ballet, WaterStone Bank, Danceworks, the Urban Ecology Center and more. Please check the calendar for the current schedule of special programs.
