Do you know an outstanding early childhood (birth-K4) or early elementary (K5-third grade) educator who shares the Museum's commitment to excellence in hands-on education? If so, nominate him or her for the Betty Brinn Children's Museum 2008 Teacher of the Year Award - A Tribute to Alice Bertschy Kadish.

Click Here for a nomination form. Forms are also available at the Betty Brinn Children's Museum, or call (414)390-KIDS(5437), ext. 274 to have a form mailed to you. Nominations will be accepted from January 1 through February 29, 2008.

This prestigious award annual award was created in honor of Alice Bertschy Kadish, a Milwaukee teacher and cherished Museum supporter who devoted her life to excellence in early childhood education. The goal of the award is to recognize exceptional educators and to increase awareness of the importance of interactive learning to a young child's development.

Award recipients will receive recognition at an awards ceremony at the Museum; a free guided Museum field trip for up to 35 children; a one-year Museum membership; membership to the National Association for the Education of Young Children, courtesy of the Milwaukee chapter; and a $100 NASCO gift certificate for school supplies.
