In this make-believe, child-sized town, children role play as they learn about how a community works! Kids can:
- Open a bank account, make a deposit and withdraw cash from the pretend ATM at the WaterStone Bank
- Change a tire and perform maintenance on the pretend kid-size car in the Super Service Center
- Fill a cart, check out at the register and stock the shelves at the Sendik's Food Market
- Work together in the Brady Corporation, Jr. exhibit to create, package and ship pretend products
- Put on a hard hat and help build an eco-friendly structure in Under Construction – Go Green!
Children can stroll down the miniature city streets or hop on the pretend city bus to make their way around Home Town. Real working phones, pretend cash registers and money, and special mail deliveries from the post office help children interact with their neighborhood partners and get the job done!
