Home Town

Role-play jobs in our kid-sized community and learn about commerce! Home Town includes:
  • A manufacturing exhibit, Brady Corporation, Jr.
  • Hands-On Harley-Davidson, a pretend motorcycle dealership
  • A post office
  • The Sendik's Food Market
  • An auto mechanics' shop, the Super Service Center
  • A TV studio, the Time Warner Cable Studio featuring the Time Warner SportsChannel
  • A construction site, Under Construction: Go Green!
  • The Waterstone Bank
  • A pretend business that changes four times a year:The Animal Hospital, The Nursery and Garden Shop, The Pizza Factory & Cafe and The Real Estate Office.

Be A Maker Space

A special space on the Museum floor dedicated to helping children learn skills, tinker with tools and materials, and share ideas, creations and experiences with others. The BAM Space hosts special programs, workshops, and other opportunities for kids to create something amazing during their visit. More>

Outdoor Balconies

Bugs on the Balcony (open June 1 - September 30)

This un-bee-lievable exhibit features a giant build-a-bug activity, a"maze"ing insect play tables and a 6-foot beehive climbing structure.

The ABC Garden (open mid-June through October 31)

An outdoor garden that features plants and flowers from A to Z.
