Make a Gift
The Museum is a leading community resource for children and families, providing educational experiences for early learners, pre-school and school-age children, as well as adult education and parenting programs to more than 200,000 visitors each year. Without your generosity, the Museum would be unable to continue improving its ever-changing exhibits, reach out to thousands of disadvantaged families in the community, and help all children develop the skills they need for school, and beyond.

Please support our educational mission with a tax-deductible contribution to the Museum's Annual Campaign. Your gift will support:
  • Family Focus, our nationally-recognized outreach program that provides free parenting education, Museum membership and transportation assistance to more than 1,300 disadvantaged families each year.

  • The Museum's Special Admissions Program that provides free/subsidized admission to more than 9,000 disadvantaged children and adults annually, including school children who participate in the National School Lunch Program, adults and children with physical, cognitive or emotional disabilities, and low-income community groups, childcare centers and neighborhood organizations.

  • Educational programs that offer rich, hands-on learning experiences for young children while providing valuable information for adult caregivers about early childhood development. Museum programs serve more than 61,000 participants annually and include weekly and monthly activities, scheduled workshops, and special performances and events that support a young child’s cognitive, emotional, social and physical development. Key programs include science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education activities, environmental education, literacy and financial literacy, the arts, health and fitness, and much more.

  • Special temporary exhibits such as The Adventures of MR. POTATO HEAD® and Smokey Bear and Woodsy Owl: Home Sweet Home, as well as additions and enhancements to the Museum's permanent exhibits including Home Town, Kohl’s Healthy Kids: It’s Your Move! and Pocket Park
