Important notice for Museum members and visitors: new automated parking system in O'Donnell Park garage

In early 2008, the O'Donnell Park Garage (which is owned and operated by Milwaukee County Parks) will be transitioning to an automated parking system. We are pleased to share that parking rates will not increase as part of this change, but there will be new procedures for Museum members and visitors to follow in order to receive discounted parking opportunities, including:

- $2 off daily parking passes for visitors
- Opportunity for Museum members to pre-purchase $3 parking passes (limit 12 per
membership year)
- Free parking for Family Focus members

How will the new automated parking system work?
You will receive a parking ticket upon entry to the garage. When leaving, insert your parking ticket at the pay station near the elevators on level 1 of the Miller Brewing Company Pavilion (the building in which the Museum is located) or at a pay station upon exiting the garage. Parking can be paid for using cash, coins or a credit card.

How can I receive $2 off parking in the O'Donnell Park Garage?
Receive a $2 off parking voucher at the Museum's Information Desk on the day of your visit. Feed your parking ticket in the pay station and then insert your $2 off parking voucher.


Once the new parking system is active, yellow parking passes pre-purchased by Museum members and $3 and green parking passes provided to Family Focus members will NOT be compatible with the new automated parking system. Please refer to the following:

I am a Museum member and I have yellow parking passes that I pre-purchased from the Museum for $3: Return all $3 pre-purchased yellow parking passes to the Museum's Information Desk to be replaced with a voucher that will be compatible with the new parking system. Insert your parking ticket at a pay station and then insert your new parking voucher to receive parking for $3.

I am a Museum member and I would like to purchase additional $3 parking passes, or I have not pre-purchased discount passes, but would like to: Members can continue to purchase $3 parking passes at the Museum's Information Desk until the new parking system is in place; once the new system is activated, members will be able to purchase $3 parking vouchers at the Museum's Information Desk.

I am a Family Focus member and have a green parking pass valid for free parking in the garage:
Return all green parking passes to the Museum's Information Desk to be replaced with a voucher that will be compatible with the new system. Insert your parking ticket at a pay station and then insert your parking voucher to receive free parking.

Will there be any restrictions on the discounted or free parking vouchers that I receive for use at the O'Donnell Park Garage?
Vouchers will be valid only for Museum visits during regular business hours: Tues-Sat. 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Sun., noon - 5 p.m.; and Mon. 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. (June - August); and when used for special Museum events. Additional restrictions may apply. Vouchers will be non-transferrable, non-refundable, and have no cash value other than as payment for a parking visit. The Museum will not be responsible for misplaced, lost or stolen vouchers.
