No. At least half of the total party payment is required to reserve a date and time. Parties are on a first-come, first-served basis and are not confirmed until payment is received. The Museum accepts cash, Visa, MasterCard or Discover. If you pay in cash, an extra $100 security deposit is required for your reservation (if the room is clean with no damages, a $100 check will be mailed to you after your party). The remaining balance is due at least two weeks prior to your reserved party date. If you are reserving a party after the two week payment deadline, payment in full will be required at the time of reservation.

A Museum staff member will be on hand to check your party in, lead you to the party room at the allotted time and answer any questions that you may have during the party. If you elect to have decorations, partyware or food/beverages, your party is responsible for all set-up, clean-up and service of these items.

You will be escorted by a Museum staff member to the party room 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the party so that you may set up the room. Tables and chairs will already be set up at this time. If you feel you need more time for set-up, you may purchase an extra 30 minutes for $35 (if it is available) when making your reservation.
If you feel you need additional time for your party, you may purchase an extra 30 minutes for $35 (if it is available) when making your reservation. If you go over your allotted time on the day of the party, you will automatically be charged $35 for the additional time used.
Yes; however, due to our busy party schedule, your private room will only be available to you during your scheduled time slot. Parties that arrive after the end of their scheduled room time will not be allowed in the room and no refunds will be given. A no-call, no-show party will not be refunded or rescheduled.
Yes, the Museum asks that the room is left the way it was found at the start of your party. Trash cans and a cart for moving gifts/food/etc. will be available for your use.
If you would like extra guests (those over the amount included in the purchased party package) to pay separately, all payments must be made through the party host. Staff at our Information Desk will not accept birthday party admission payments from anyone other than the party host.
No, the Museum does not have refrigeration or freezer storage available. You are welcome to bring a cooler that can be stored on your party’s designated cart that can be used to hold and transport food, tableware or gifts from the Museum’s Information Desk to your party room.
No, these items may be dangerous, disruptive or scary to some of our young visitors. Our hands-on exhibits are sure to keep the children entertained!
