The Museum hosts a variety of family-friendly events and fundraisers throughout the year. Visit our calendar for more information!

NEIGHBORHOOD NIGHT
All special events have been postponed.
Join us for FREE admission, courtesy of Northwestern Mutual Foundation and other supporting sponsors, from 5-8 p.m. on the third Thursday of every month! Enjoy access to all of the Museum’s hands-on exhibits, and stop by our Be A Maker space to find tools, materials and techniques for endless ways to experiment and create. Learn more.

WATERSTONE BANK DAY
All special events have been postponed.
Our WaterStone Bank exhibit is a wonderful (and fun!) resource for teaching children basic financial literacy concepts. Families who join us on our WaterStone Bank Days will enjoy special activities at the Museum and receive take-home materials to help children build the skills needed to make good decisions about money management.

SENDIK’S DAY
All special events have been postponed.
On Sendik’s Day, visitors to the Museum can explore fun, hands-on exhibits like the pretend Sendik’s Food Market in Home Town, Pocket Park, Science CITY and Word Headquarters and participate in hands-on activities in the Be A Maker space.

BE A MAKER: TEACHER STUDIO
Educators are invited to our Be A Maker Teacher Studio, sponsored by Rockwell Automation, for hands-on demonstrations and instructional workshops that focus on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math) and the maker movement. Meetings will also serve as an opportunity for members to share resources, information and professional development opportunities. Learn more.
