Accessibility
The Museum is wheelchair-accessible and there is elevator access at the ground level. Some exhibit components are not wheelchair-accessible.

Access/Resource Kit
Drawstring backpacks that contain a pair of headphones, a social story, communication cards, and a fidget toy to help our guests have the best possible experience while visiting the Museum.

Bathrooms
Restrooms are located on the Museum level and changing stations are located in both the men’s and women’s restrooms. The Museum does not currently offer an adult changing station. A Family bathroom is available upon request. Visit our Information Desk for assistance.

Elevators
The Museum offers elevator access for the convenience of its visitors. Elevators are located on the west side of the parking garage to bring you to the building’s atrium. The Museum is located on the floor above ground level. An elevator to the Museum is located in the south-east corner of the atrium.

Entrances
The Betty Brinn Children’s Museum has three entrances, all accessible from Wisconsin Avenue. These entrances are located on the west, north and east sides of the building. Each entrance has a ramp and an automatic door.

Quiet Space
A quiet space to take a break from the rest of the Museum is available. This space has adjustable lighting, comfortable seating, books, puzzles, and some fidget toys to support our guests’ experience in this space.

Service Animals
Service dogs trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability are welcome in the Museum.

Wheelchairs
A limited number of wheelchairs are available at the Information Desk for visitors to borrow during their visit.
