From music classes to gardening workshops, we offer a variety of activities designed for all ages. Check our calendar to see everything happening.

We do our best to keep programs as scheduled, but dates and times may occasionally shift to match educator availability. Please check the daily program board at the Front Desk when you arrive at the Museum to see what programs are happening during your visit.

Betty BOO's Spooktacular

Join us at Betty BOO’s Spooktacular for a full day of fright-free family fun!

Activity Schedule:

10 a.m. & 2 p.m.
Sit around the campfire for Spooky-Silly Story Times

10:30-11:45 a.m. 
Enjoy cello music by Malik Johnson

11 a.m.-12 p.m. & 12:30-1:30 p.m.
Meet reptiles and insects with Tatiana’s Tiny Zoo

2:30-4:15 p.m.
Walk in our costume parade, followed by a Mini Monster Mash Dance Party

All Day Activities:
• Creepy cool spider webs, groovy tie-dye ghosts and mask making in the Be A Maker space
• Complete a scavenger hunt to claim your bag of treats

Entrance to the Museum on Saturday, October 11, from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. will require a Betty BOO’s Spooktacular special event ticket.

Standard general admission will not be available. Advance online ticket purchase is recommended.

Be A Maker Programs

OCTOBER: Frighting fibers & fashion!

Create new projects every week in our Be A Maker space where kiddos can make, change or invent new creations to take home!

Facilitated Be A Maker Programs will happen twice a day, so be sure to check the daily programming board at check-in for details. Open making will still be available during program times.

Wonder Wagon

Our Wonder Wagon brings hands-on activities and collaborative projects into the community. The Wonder Wagon is available to visit parks, community centers, schools, partner sites, special events and private functions.
