We believe everyone should be able to visit the Museum, for special pricing check out our Discounts + Community Access page.
Children must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or older) at all times during Museum visits. Adults visiting the Museum must be visiting with a child or have a scheduled appointment.

Wednesday-Monday: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Museum is closed on Tuesdays.
HOLIDAYS
The Museum is closed on New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, September 2-5, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Betty Brinn Children’s Museum

Located at Museum Center Park on the second level of the Miller Pavilion.
From the West
Take I-94 east and merge onto I-794 east. Follow the Lakefront signs and exit at Lakefront (1F). Continue north on Lincoln Memorial Drive. The Museum Center Park garage entrance will be the first stoplight after Michigan.
From the North
Take I-43 south and merge onto I-794 east. Follow the Lakefront signs and exit at Lakefront (1F). Continue north on Lincoln Memorial Drive. The Museum Center Park garage entrance will be the first stoplight after Michigan.
From the South
Take I-43 north and merge onto I-794 east. Follow the Lakefront signs and exit at Lakefront (1F). Continue north on Lincoln Memorial Drive. The Museum Center Park garage entrance will be the first stoplight after Michigan.
We are only able to validate parking in the Museum Center Park directly below our building. Guests may access the Museum via elevator or stairs.
- Museum guests receive a $3-off discount (receive your voucher at the Museum’s admissions desk). During festival season, guests receive a $6 flat rate in Museum Center Park.
- $3 flat-rate parking is available for Museum Members (you will receive a voucher when checking in at the Museum’s admissions desk and pay in the parking structure).
The City of Milwaukee will be doing construction on E. Michigan Street through December, which will affect entering and exiting the Museum Center Park Garage.
Please note the following changes:
The Michigan Street entrance and exit for the Museum Center Park garage will be CLOSED during the duration of the construction. Guests visiting the Museum will need to enter the Museum Center Park garage on Lincoln Memorial Drive, directly across from the Milwaukee Art Museum (730 N. Lincoln Memorial Drive).
The only way to exit the Museum Center Park garage will be onto Lincoln Memorial Drive.
We do have a limited number of reserved Betty Brinn Children’s Museum parking spaces on level 1 of the garage near the West Elevators. Look for signs that say “Betty Brinn Children’s Museum and Coast Restaurant Patron Parking Only”.

Stay Together, Play Together
Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult (18 years or older) at all times during Museum visits. Adults visiting the Museum must be visiting with a child or have a scheduled appointment.
Shoes Are Required
Guests must wear shoes while playing in the Museum. Socks are preferred in our climber experience and our Pocket Park tumble area.
Walking Feet
For the safety of yourself and others, please walk in the Museum.
Food and Drinks
Please utilize our designated seating areas to eat: the café area, the Atrium and the balconies (weather-permitting). Groups larger than eight (8) will be asked to eat their snacks or meals in the Atrium. Birthday parties, large coolers, cakes or catering is not permitted. Guests must use drinkware with lids, no glass containers are allowed.
Hygiene
Diapers are only to be changed in the restrooms. Please wash hands and use hand sanitizer regularly during your visit.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Inappropriate, threatening or abusive behavior is not tolerated at Betty Brinn Children’s Museum and may be grounds for expulsion from the Museum for the day or permanently. The Museum has the right to revoke membership from any individual for disrespectful or harmful behavior toward other guests, staff and Museum property.
Accessibility
The Museum Center Park garage, which is adjacent to the Museum, has designated accessible parking spaces. A small number of exhibit components are not wheelchair-accessible. An adult wheelchair is available at no charge.

Photography
A Museum staff member may be taking photos/recording video during your family's visit. Please inform a Guest Experience team member or the photographer if you would prefer not to have your photo taken or be in a video. You will be notified if any images of your family are captured. Photos are primarily used for social media purposes. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact questions@bbcmkids.org and review our Photography-Videography policy.
Guest photographs, video and recordings taken on Museum property shall be for private, noncommercial use only. Photography of children or families who are not part of your group is prohibited.

Wi-Fi
Guest Wi-Fi is available in the Museum.
Service Animals
Service dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities are welcome in the Museum.
Smoking/Vaping
Smoking and vaping are not permitted in the Museum or pavilion.
Solicitation Policy
Unauthorized solicitation or petitioning is prohibited at the Museum.
Storage
An open coat area is available. Please keep your belongings with you during your visit. The Museum is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Lockers are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Small lockers are $1, large lockers are $2.
Weapons
Weapons, including concealed carry, are prohibited at the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum. Guests entering our space with a weapon of any kind will be asked to return them to their vehicle before beginning a Museum visit. Guests who do not respect our policy will be asked to leave the building, and security or police may be called.
