Neighborhood Night

July’s Neighborhood Night theme is Literacy Night! Visitors will have access to early literacy resources for pre-school age children and engaging activities to help prevent the “summer slide” for school-age children, including:

Neighborhood Night is presented by Northwestern Mutual Foundation with additional support provided by the Schoenleber Foundation, US Bank, the Joseph and Vera Zilber Charitable Foundation, Inc. and media sponsor FOX6.

Books are generously donated through Northwestern Mutual Make a Child Smile day, a Summerfest admission promotion. Be A Maker programs during Neighborhood Night are presented by the Brady Corporation with additional support provided by PPG.

New Year’s Eve-Eve at Noon

Celebrate 2017 early! Kids can make a party hat, create something festive in the Be A Maker space and be wide awake when they toast the new year (with juice) as they sing, dance and count down to our annual New Year’s Eve at Noon ball drop.

Holiday Kitchen

Not-So-Scary Halloween

October 28 & 29, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Celebrate the fall season with plenty of Halloween fun created especially for young children at the Museum’s popular Not-So-Scary Halloween, presented by Sendik’s Food Markets. Receive goodies at Treat Stops (with or without a costume!), and enjoy spooktacular activities and fun throughout the Museum. The event is free for Museum members and free with regular paid admission for non-members.
