About the Museum
The Betty Brinn Children’s Museum (BBCM) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been inspiring ALL children to wonder and explore their world through play and innovative, hands-on learning experiences since 1995. BBCM is a 16,000 sq foot museum with five galleries filled with exhibits designed to inspire children and promote education.

The Museum’s namesake, Betty Brinn, was a champion of children living in poverty and underserved communities. She believed that all children should have access to high-quality healthcare and educational opportunities. Today, the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum honors Betty’s legacy by its commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in Museum access.

We are open to the public Wednesday through Monday. There is no single or correct way to experience the Museum when one visits. Instead, guests are encouraged to interact with all of the exhibits at a pace that works for them. However, some frequent guests have their favorite exhibits that they must see first (and may never leave)! We have proudly served more than 4.5 million guests since our founding and look forward to welcoming many more.
